Original Narratives

Mahalo is on the search for written pieces—narratives and poetry—that encapsulates your road to health and happiness, and captures the essence of a life well-lived. We invite submissions that reflect on the building blocks of longevity—meaningful connection, joyful simplicities, pivotal life lessons, the art of mindful living, and the celebration of authenticity.

Accompanying photography to complement your written pieces is welcome, though not mandatory. For those submissions selected for publication, we offer to pair authors with photographers, ensuring your words are matched with visuals that echo your journey towards a happier, healthier, and longer life.

Instagram Collections

Instagram is more than just a social platform—it's a vibrant canvas for sharing our life experiences, and a personal chronicle of our day-to-day journey. As artists, creatives, and wellness enthusiasts devoted to living a richer, fuller life, it becomes a tool to express and celebrate our commitment towards a happier, healthier, and longer existence.

If you would like your collection to be considered, simply send us 15 images that encapsulate your Instagram ethos, along with a statement articulating what following the path towards health and longevity—the essence of a Mahalo life—means to you.

Should your submission be selected, we'll require high-resolution images suitable for printing at 5″ x 5″, 300 dpi. We eagerly look forward to immersing ourselves in the visual narrative of your wellness journey.

Photography

At Mahalo, we're on the lookout for photographic submissions that encapsulate the essence of our community and their journey towards a happier, healthier, and longer life. We're interested in images capturing wellness rituals, moments of self-care, personal transformation, joyous gatherings, or serene solitude.

Photographs showcasing lifestyle habits that contribute to longevity, such as preparing nourishing meals, engaging in physical activities, practicing mindfulness, or enjoying nature, are highly welcomed. We also appreciate images that provide a glimpse of individuals in moments of introspection, as these often speak volumes about personal growth.

​

As a general preference, we're inclined towards photographs where the subject isn't directly facing the camera, enabling a more candid, authentic portrayal of life’s beautiful journey.

​

You may submit photography independently, and selected photos might be paired with narratives or used as backdrops for uplifting quotes throughout our publications.

Submission Themes:
While we accept general submissions throughout the year, you may also respond to our themed prompts focused on fitness, nutrition, mental health, community support, and the choice of living healthily.
